The Position 

Owing to a doctor undergoing further sub speciality overseas training in cardiology, a position is available for a skilled compassionate Cardiologist to join a team of cardiologists with sub speciality's interest in their chosen field.  In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to a a diverse patient population. The role will enable you to utilise state-of-the-art technology and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised treatment plans and optimise patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, medical histories, and physical examinations to assess cardiovascular health and diagnose cardiac conditions.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms (ECGs), echo-cardiograms, stress tests, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various cardiac conditions
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures to reduce the risk of future cardiac events.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physician assistants, and referring physicians, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities to stay abreast of advances in cardiology and contribute to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine.
Qualifications:
  • Fellowship in cardiology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
  • Proven clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of cardiac conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
  • Willingness to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
